VIDEO: In the passenger seat for a hair-raising Amalfi Coast drive

Posted on February 8th, 2011 by Laura Byrne Paquet in Destinations

While doing some research about Italy this afternoon, I stumbled across this charming video. It puts you in the passenger seat for a series of drives along the twisty, cliff-hugging roads of the Amalfi Coast. It was a nice way to pretend I was a 1960s movie heroine in a convertible for five minutes. But it also made me realize anew that some driving routes are just WAY out of my league. Tour buses coming around blind corners? Motorcyclists driving up the middle of the road between two lanes of traffic? Yikes!
